Kinesiology Taping (K-Taping)

Kinesiology taping (K-taping) is a technique using a form of athletic/sports tape that helps to stabilize an injured area of the body. K-taping allows the area to heal and reduces swelling while maintaining some range of motion. Since it doesn’t severely limit circulation, unlike most athletic tapes it can be worn for longer periods of time.  Areas of the body where kinesiology tape is commonly used include the knees, shoulders, calves, shins, elbows and wrists. Most K-taping sessions last about 15 minutes.
